Gorge Walking in Herefordshire, Monmouthshire, the Wye Valley and The Forest of Dean |
Gorge Walking and Gorge Walking Wales ExperienceGorge walking is the ultimate in outdoor thrills. You will be scrambling down rivers, climbing up waterfalls and abseiling into lichen covered chasms. Your challenge will be to stay dry for as long as possible as you walk through the gorge. When you do get wet the fun really starts with water slides, natural obstacle courses and plunge pools - finishing off at the car park and warm dry clothing. Herefordshire and Monmouthshire both have beautiful gorges that you can enjoy just a short drive from your accommodation, and once you have got the taste for gorge walking there are more gorges to be explored in Wales and the Brecon Beacons, click on the Gorge Walking Wales Experience link above for more information. Gorge walking is a fantastic team building activity, groups are encouraged to work together to ensure that all members of the party feel supported and included within the team. Very often, normally quiet or shy individuals will display unknown talents and skills, and this can dramatically improve their standing within the group and improve their confidence and self esteem. Gorge walking is an activity not to be missed if you want full on fun and adventure. You will be in totally safe hands with very experienced and caring instructors. Highly recommended. Gorge walking takes place in Herefordshire, Monmouthshire and the Brecon Beacons, and occasionally the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean. Feedback about Gorge Walking
